To be fair, I actually prefer Rachmaninov’s own, slower version on the whole, but this one is just great because it brings together two of the most amazing composers of all time, and Prokofiev’s lyrical rendering of the middle part is really beyond comparison. Why isn’t there any music like this coming out now, I mean David Guetta is fine for a night out I guess, but…

  1. Dude, you are the man. Prelude in G-Minor is my favorite piece of music on the piano. I too prefer the slower version played by the composer himself.
